You can use Idem to synchronize a laptop on a network and for real-time mirroring of folders on ZIP drive, CD-RW, removable hard disk, network drives, local hard disk. Idem is distinguishable from other mirroring or clustering products by its ability to fully preserve Macintosh filenames and structures when stored on a Windows NT/2000 server. This software solution for synchronizing important folders across network drives or simply maintain backups is fully automated and designed to operate also on Windows Servers as a Windows NT/2000 service or in command line mode.
